13 Dec Design Meeting
Met today to set a gameplan for the next two weeks, with the goal of being able to put together some manner of loose demo.
Cindy:
- > will send JoDee outlines for three levels of gesture progression, with some general parameters for each level. We will iteratively try to find a balance between performance and visual trace over the next week, so we can put these on cue cards for next week’s meeting and test them out.
- > will send Stephen a spec for the track effects, as they are essential in communicating with the player what to do at any point.
- > will send Stephen a prioritized list of programming that ideally needs to happen for January.
Stephen:
- > will send Cindy a configurable magnetized track (mouse version).
- > will send the “just hands” test version of sHC.
- > will send the Kinect-Unity basic interaction, which Cindy will forward to other TAG folks who have requested it.
JoDee:
- > will work with Cindy to create a testable set of micro gestures for next week’s test.
Next week we test out patterns of gestures, to find the best ones (darwin-style). And we play around with a basic mouse version of the game.
